Merit 2022 conference is co-organized by the Merit Research Group jointly with ANIMP-IPMA Italy.

The Megaproject Research Interdisciplinary Team (MeRIT) includes researchers and academics from the Politecnico di Milano School of Management and the faculty of Economics and Law of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. –

It was established in 2018 to combine the multiple aspects related to the design and implementation of megaprojects – aims to promote the debate around megaprojects among all categories of stakeholders involved in a megaproject’s supply chain, in order to increase the awareness of complex phenomena in charge of criticalities and common problems they face all over the world and looking for improvement of performances on the whole life cycle (including the selection, design, construction, operation and decommissioning).

Established in 2003 to bring together all research, technology transfer and education activities in the field of management within Politecnico di Milano, the School of Management offers a comprehensive portfolio of programmes, from Bachelor and Master of Science Courses for University Students to post-graduate and executive education for professionals and companies. SoM has two main constituents: the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering (DIG – Dipartimento di Ingegneria Gestionale), established in 1990 and devoted to research, open innovation and undergraduate education, and the Graduate School of Management of Politecnico di Milano (ex MIP), founded in 1979, devoted to post graduate and executive education.

The Faculty of Economics and Law of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore offers separate and autonomous degree programs in Economics and Law, but additionally offers some strongly interdisciplinary courses. The mission of the Faculty is to offer an education that creates value, to support activities aimed at the advancement of students and society, and to design research with a local and international scope.It is rooted in the Piacenza-Cremona area but open to the world.

IPMA Italy was born from the evolution of the Project Management Section of ANIMP (Italian Association of Industrial Plant Engineering), which is for Italy the Member Association of IPMA® (International Project Management Association). Since 2000 ANIMP-IPMA Italy has the exclusive right on the national territory for the professional certification of Project Managers according to the IPMA methodology.

Mission:

– promote the culture of Project Management, disseminate PM standards and best practices

– spread the methodology of «working by projects» such as value and competitive advantage for companies;

– qualify the profession of Project Managers through IPMA® Certification, internationally recognized.

ANIMP Italian Association of Industrial Plant Engineering was established in 1974, with the goal of promoting the capacity and complexity of engineering and plant engineering, both nationally and internationally.
